Course Learning Objectives

In this course, you will learn and practice self-discovery and self-awareness skills that will help improve your circumstances and lifestyle. Be sure to practice the following exercises until you feel you grasp the concepts associated with each one (5 days or more each). Doing so will aid in the ease of integration, increasing the likelihood that you will be able to maintain and further incorporate them more readily moving forward.

By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • Understand and embody the concept of having a glass half-empty/full and how it affects your perspective
    Shift from a 3D mindset to a 5D mindset
  • Overcome conditioning and attachments
  • Cultivate self-love without attachment
  • Make decisions based on love rather than fear
  • Harness the power of affirmations
  • Practice talking kindly to yourself in the mirror

Lesson

Self-discovery and self-awareness are essential for personal growth and creating positive changes in our lives. One concept that can greatly impact how we perceive the world is the notion of having a glass that is either half-empty or half-full. When we see the glass as half-empty, we tend to focus on what is lacking or missing in our lives. This perspective can lead to negativity and dissatisfaction. On the other hand, perceiving the glass as half-full allows us to appreciate what we have and see the potential for growth and abundance. By consciously choosing to adopt a half-full perspective, we can shift our mindset and cultivate a more positive outlook on life.

Another important aspect of self-discovery is transitioning from a 3D mindset to a 5D mindset. The 3D mindset is rooted in fear, lack, and separation. It is characterized by beliefs such as competition, scarcity, and the need for control. On the other hand, the 5D mindset is based on love, unity, and abundance. It is characterized by beliefs such as collaboration, abundance, and trust in the universe. By recognizing and letting go of the limiting beliefs of the 3D mindset, we open ourselves up to a higher level of consciousness and align with the flow of love and abundance that exists in the universe.

Overcoming conditioning and attachments is another crucial step in self-discovery. Often, we are conditioned by society, family, and past experiences to believe certain things about ourselves and the world. These beliefs can limit our potential and keep us stuck in patterns that no longer serve us. By recognizing and questioning our conditioning, we can free ourselves from its limitations and create new empowering beliefs. Similarly, attachments to people, possessions, or outcomes can create suffering and prevent us from fully experiencing the present moment. Learning to let go and detach from these attachments allows us to embrace change and create space for new possibilities in our lives.

While self-love is important, it is equally important to cultivate self-love without attachment. Self-love without attachment means loving and accepting ourselves exactly as we are, without the need for external validation or attachment to specific outcomes. It is about nurturing a deep sense of self-worth and embracing our true essence. When we practice self-love without attachment, we no longer seek approval or validation from others, and we can fully embrace our authentic selves.

When it comes to decision-making, it is crucial to base our choices on love rather than fear. Fear-based decisions are often driven by concerns of what could go wrong or potential negative outcomes. These decisions can lead to missed opportunities and regrets. On the other hand, decisions made from a place of love focus on what feels right and aligned with our values and desires. These decisions lead to personal growth, fulfillment, and a sense of purpose.

Affirmations are a powerful tool for self-discovery and self-care. They are positive statements that we can repeat to ourselves to reinforce positive beliefs and intentions. By regularly affirming positive statements about ourselves and our lives, we can reprogram our subconscious mind and replace negative self-talk with empowering thoughts. For example, affirmations like "I am worthy of love and happiness" or "I trust in my ability to create the life I desire" can help boost our self-confidence and create a positive self-image.

Talking kindly to ourselves in the mirror is another powerful practice for cultivating self-love and self-acceptance. When we look into our own eyes and speak kind and loving words to ourselves, we create a deeper connection with our true selves. This practice allows us to acknowledge and appreciate our strengths, beauty, and uniqueness. By consistently engaging in this practice, we develop a strong sense of self-worth and a loving relationship with ourselves.

Time for an Upgrade...

Whether you're here to Establish, Revamp, or Upgrade your routine... You're encouraged to approach it the same way - based on Resonance.

Resonance is the Key - to all that we are, have, & do - in this life!

You must first love yourself before anyone else can show up to mirror back that love to you. If you're not experiencing the love within then it is not possible to attract another person who can mirror it back since it doesn't exist within you.

The better you love yourself the more love you can attract into your life experience.

What you attract is a direct reflection of what is happening on the inside. So the only way to manifest deep compassion and intimacy into your life in the form of another person is to first create and then maintain that level of love within yourself.

Have I said it so it's clear?

People feel what you feel about yourself, whenever they are with you.

People feel what You feel about you... Get it?

Shift into an abundance mindset by realizing your own resonances, self-worth, and value, by focusing on doing what you love, to achieve and maintain alignment, in your core energy.

Course Instructions

Below are some exercises you can use to help you determine your own, personal resonance. By working through these exercises, you will begin to reacquaint yourself with internal dialogue.

Unfortunately, it is far too easy to get lost in the chaos and hustle of everyday life... with all the responsibilities we take on, to all the conversations that produce opinions and judgments - it's simple to get overwhelmed easily, without proper self-care practices in place.

In this course, it's recommended that you enjoy these exercises three times each, over the course of 3-7 days, before making a decision. Spread them out over the day, maybe even change up the time and space you do them to gain greater insight as to how you're affected. Doing so will allow integration of the intention to grow, connect, align, heal, - essentially, upgrade.

Intentions are very important. Setting specific intentions can be useful in many ways. However, to facilitate the ease of integration into your daily routine (so it is more enjoyable - not just another chore on your list), it's beneficial to set more general intentions.

Consider it like this... Reiki is Divine Healing Energy with a Mind of It's Own, it doesn't need to be specific to be effective - Yes!?!?! This is applicable in terms of Intentions as well.

Try this:

Your Intention for this Session/Practice/Event could look something like an objective statement:

I set the intention for this practice to Connect, Align, and Heal from within to Reveal my Best Self.

By keeping extensive notes throughout your journey, you will be grateful you did in the long run. More importantly, noting your profound experiences will facilitate a deeper understanding of you, your experience, and your purpose.

In addition, since the mind learns by repetition, the experience, notes, and reflection, are all separate forms of repetition and therefore allow you to embed this new information into your memory bank.

In psychology, you can consider this concept in terms of, neural pathways - which are repeated thought processes and/or decision-making criteria that become deeply embedded each time they are repeated.

Ever heard the expression that someone is "Set in their Ways" or "Adapting to Change gets harder the older we become"? These are just two of the mental concepts associated with a lack of self-care.

Speaking from personal experience, it can be difficult, and can even go unrealized for your whole life - until it becomes apparent. When suddenly, a realization comes into your awareness... "AHA..."

The laws of the mind are far and wide, just as is diversity in opinions, beliefs, behaviors, and societal norms. When we don't like something, it's easy to walk away from it right? But have you ever stopped to ask yourself questions that provoke internal dialogue, like:

What about this is it that I don't like?

More often than not, it's easy to overlook the fear of failure or rejection - which can show up as procrastination or even lack of interest in something that, at some point, seemed rather intriguing...

Food for Thought... as we DIVE IN!

The following exercises are intended to facilitate familiarizing yourself with the practices and sensations that will benefit you throughout this Journey and Beyond.

I encourage you to practice each one for a minimum of 5 days consecutively for a minimum of 30 minutes. Ensure success and retention by taking notes on subtle changes and shifts you experience.

The 3 Beliefs Activity

Write your answers to the following questions, in your notebook so you'll remember later to come back to review and track your progress - throughout your journey.

Prompts for Journaling & Inspiring Internal Dialogue

  • What do you believe is not available to you and why?
  • What will your life be like when you recognize that everything you need is available to you?
  • What makes you different than anyone else? Is there some fear around that, for you? Why?
  • What will your life be like when you realize that feeling different makes you the same as everyone else who fears being different?
  • What makes you believe you are not enough?
  • What will your life be like when you realize that you are enough?

Keep notes and add more questions as you progress and begin to develop your own practices and routine. Remember that "practice makes perfection possible", the more you put into it, the more you get out of it - this is not about exerting effort, rather, it's more about being thorough yet flexible - try to show yourself forgiveness for not being perfect, or not meeting the deadline, etc. And do your best the next time around.
